Kedra Wallace, MS, MD, PhD

Kedra Wallace, MS, PhD received her undergraduate degree in Biology from Millsaps College, a Masters’s degree in Pharmacology & Toxicology from the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC) and her Ph.D in Neuroscience from UMMC in Jackson, MS. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. Dr. Wallace currently serves as a tenured Professor in the Department of Pharmacology & Toxicology with a joint appointment in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Her research is focused in two primary areas 1) the relationship between hypertension during pregnancy on long-term mental health and neurological function and 2) the emotional impact of uterine fibroids. She has served as PI and co-PI for more than 20 research grants and contracts from NIH, AHRQ, PCORI, AHA and other public and private funding sources.
