Alicia Mingo is a proud resident and healthcare advocate serving the vibrant community of Shreveport, Louisiana and its surrounding areas. With over 20 years of experience in healthcare, she has dedicated my career to supporting families through pivotal life moments as a nurse, doula, certified breastfeeding specialist, childbirth educator, and Louisiana certified child care health consultant.

In 2020, she embarked on a new journey as a Healthy Birth Ambassador, driven by a passion for empowering expecting mothers and families towards healthy, joyful births. As the owner of Happy Healthy Pregnancy LLC., she offers personalized Doula and Lactation Services designed to nurture and guide families through the transformative journey of pregnancy and childbirth.

Beyond her professional endeavors, she is deeply committed to community health and founded the Birth Well Shreveport Non-Profit Corporation. Through this initiative, she strives to enhance maternal and infant health outcomes, fostering a supportive environment for all families.

On a personal note, she cherishes my role as a mother of three, finding immense fulfillment in family life. As a licensed minister and pastor’s wife, she is dedicated to serving her community both professionally and spiritually.
