Monroe Housing Authority
The Monroe Housing Authority is founded on the belief that decent, safe, and affordable housing are central to the physical and emotional health, productivity, and self-esteem of the people it serves. Recognizing its responsibility to maintain physical properties, while affording dignity and respect to every individual, the objective of the Monroe Housing Authority is to improve the quality of life through a community partnership that promotes decent and safe neighborhoods. Monroe Housing Authority owns and manages a diverse portfolio of housing solutions including properties for families, persons with disabilities, and retirees. These 3,802 housing choices include 1,562 Housing Choice Vouchers; 1,522 Public Housing residences; and 718 LIHTC, 202s, and other mixed finance residences.
