Crystal Cooper-Taylor
Doula Collective
Crystal Cooper-Taylor is the Director of Outreach and Education at Care Pregnancy Center. She is also the administrative assistant at New Creation Family Church. Crystal is a proud Graduate of Bossier Parish Community College and Louisiana Baptist University with a bachelor’s degree in communications.
Crystal is passionate about families and bringing awareness to maternal health with a concentration on African American families. She has been a birth worker for over 10 years. She is a Healthy Birth Ambassador for Region 7 in the state of Louisiana, Co-Founder of Taking Care of Momma Doula Collective, certified lactation specialist, childbirth educator, doula, midwives assistant, and student midwife. She is a community mentor and advocate who holds partnerships with many local nonprofits such as Family Resources for Education and Empowerment, March of Dimes, City Match, and more.
Outside of birth work, Crystal enjoys working alongside her husband Dwayne Taylor Jr. through songwriting, music, and ministry. They both were raised in households filled with musical influence and talent. Crystal released her first album entitled, Acceptable in 2008 and a single Addicted in 2016. Crystal is an active BMI and ASCAP songwriter, author, and blogger. The Taylors music is available on all digital platforms. Crystal and her husband reside in Bossier City, LA with their two beautiful children, Dwayne and Lillian Taylor.
