Yunxi Zhang, MA, MS, PhD

Yunxi Zhang, MA, MS, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Data Science at the University of Mississippi Medical Center (UMMC). She has a strong background in biostatistics and has been involved in various research projects, particularly in the field of telehealth. Dr. Zhang’s research interests include missing data analysis, high-dimensional data analysis, variable selection, Bayesian methods, causal inference, graphical models, health service research, and health economics12. She received her PhD in biostatistics from the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston and her MS in statistics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
